The Climate in Dalian

Dalian is one of the warmest places in Northeast China. Strong breezes frequently blow in from the Yellow Sea, refreshing and humidifying the air over the entire Dalian peninsula.

Dalian has four distinct seasons with relatively mild winters and summers. The weather in autumn, beginning in October, is marked by the changing colors of the leaves, expansive clear skies, and brisk air. October’s average temperature is around 13.6℃, and the average rainfall is around 33 mm.
